Bordeaux refers to a wine region in southwestern France, renowned for producing red wine blends of the same name from Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and other grapes. White Bordeaux wines are also made from Sauvignon Blanc and S\u00e9millon, while sweet wines (Sauternes) make up a smaller percentage of production.
