Cristal Champagne is the flagship cuv\u00e9e of the champagne house Louis Roederer, famously known as the world’s first luxury champagne. It was created in 1876 for Tsar Alexander II, the tsar of Russia. Cristal is a blend of roughly 60% Pinot Noir and 40% Chardonnay and it is only produced in the best harvest years (vintage only).
