Dirty Martini
Dirty Martini
A Dirty Martini is a savory variation of the classic Martini cocktail. It is made by adding the juice from a jar of olives (brine) to a standard mix of dry vermouth and gin or vodka. The brine adds a bold, savory and salty flavor and the cocktail is often garnished with olives. It is believed to have been created by bartender John O’Connor sometime around 1901.
