Merlot

Merlot is a red wine grape known for its velvety texture, low tannins and fruit forward profile. It is widely used both in Bordeaux blends and as a single varietal. Its wines are dry and medium-bodied, with notes of plum, cherry and chocolate.Merlot is the second most widely planted red variety in the world after Cabernet Sauvignon.
