Vesper Martini
The Vesper Martini is a cocktail that was originally made of gin, vodka and Kina Lillet, an aromatized wine. That form of Lillet is no longer produced, so modern bartenders modified the recipe to include Lillet Blanc or Cocchi Americano as typical substitutes. The cocktail is shaken with ice with ice and garnished with lemon peel, known for its bitter, citrusy and crisp profile. The drink was invented by author Ian Fleming for the character James Bond in his 1953 novel Casino Royale.
