Grappa
Grappa is an Italian alcoholic beverage made by distilling the grape pomace (grape skins, seeds and stems) leftover from winemaking. It is a traditional digestif and can be mixed into coffee, ranging in flavor from fruity and floral to nutty, vanilla or woody. The different types of Grappa include giovane/bianca (young/white), invecchiata (wood aged for at least 12 months) and riserva (aged for 18+ months).
