Viognier
Viognier
Viognier is a full bodied, highly aromatic white grape variety originating from the Rhône Valley in France. It is lush and oily, featuring intense notes of peach, apricot, honeysuckle and orange zest. Its wines are dry, low in acidity and high in alcohol, often compared to Chardonnay, although they are more perfumed. Viognier is the only permitted grape variety in Condrieu wine.
